Goodbye, October. Hello, November! It’s always sad to see another month come and go, but I’ve got some feel-good feelings to share to start off the month.
Amazon Bestseller Feel-Good Campaign
Thank you to everyone who downloaded their free copy of Love’s Farewell. The ebook was downloaded over 1,000 times. Also, my other books in the series were downloaded, adding to the feel-good.
Hanging with the Family for Halloween
As promised, I’m posting a picture with my family. The little ones went trick-or-treating on Sunday afternoon. Peter Pan, the crocodile, Tinkerbell, a ghostbuster and T-Rex went for a walk. We dropped by family members’ homes for goodies. The T-Rex costume was fun to wear. However, it was quite the workout for me walking, as it gave me a dinosaur waddle. As for visibility, I could see straight ahead only. Luckily, my grandkids took my hand or paw and led the way.
Both grandkids asked to try the costume. They’d be swallowed up in it. Maybe next year, Grandma will have little dinosaur costumes for them.
We didn’t get any trick-or-treaters this year. There was no need to buy extra candy just in case we ran out. Fortunately, I bought the grandkids’ favourites, so I have treats to share. https://deboraharmstrong.ca/2022/10/28/friday-feel-good-blog-20/
Flower Feel-Good
This morning I found one of my rose bushes in bloom. This bush originated as a cutting from my mother’s rose bush over 30 years ago. Every year, the garden is gifted with gorgeous pink roses.
Weekend Plans
I’m attending a webinar on book covers and swag on Saturday. I’m looking forward to finding out what is new. November is National November Writing Month. I decided to work on Love’s Embrace. The story is coming to me nicely, and the characters are speaking to me. Yes! That’s the best part–when the characters are eager to tell me their story. This week, they’ve had lots to tell.
That’s it for me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the fabulous weather (if you get it); hunker down with a good book and read if it’s cold and wet outside.
Happy reading!
