I’ve been thinking of resolutions and accomplishments this past week. I don’t usually make resolutions. Studies show most resolutions break by January 17th. I came across a blog I’d written two years ago. It surprised me to see that I had accomplished what I had set out to do when it came to writing.
1. Resolution to finish my fifth book.
Boss, the first book in the Gamechanger series, and the fifth book I’ve written, published in December 2019. Boss placed in the Readers’ Favorite Awards for sizzle. I am proud of this accomplishment.
2. Resolution to start my publishing company.
Terrahill Publishing and Proofreading was formed in January 2019. It is the official publisher of the Davina & Quinn Love Series, and the Gamechanger Series. I’ve been busy providing proofreading services to fellow authors. I applaud them for their writing accomplishments. Terrahill Publishing plans to be very active in 2021.
3. Resolution to re-release Forever Love
I have taken my books back from the original publisher and will re-release them under Terrahill Publishing. Forever Love has a new cover, new interior, and fresh writing. My skills have developed over the last few years and I knew that my writing could be improved in my first novel. I did not change the storyline, only making a few nips and tucks here and there.
Resolutions for this year?
My resolutions for 2021 are to write more, read more, and to get better organized. I am easily distracted, finding things to do other than what I should be doing. I want to see the Davina & Quinn Love Series published, and I want Bates’ story told. Bates is the second book in the Gamechanger series. I know that I can accomplish these goals.
What about you? Do you make resolutions? Have you set resolutions that you are proud of achieving?
