Deborah's Diary

I found out that my Friday Feel-Good blog didn’t send out last week. You should (fingers crossed) receive today’s and last week’s https://deboraharmstrong.ca/2022/08/05/19959/. Social media and email platforms always keep me on my toes.

Last week, I mentioned that our grandkids were coming over for their first sleepover at our home. I am happy to say that it was a success and very much a feel-good event. Although I didn’t get a good night’s sleep (not their fault), I made it through the following day on little rest. We spent Saturday watching videos and having lots of swim time in the hot tub. The tub is set to 88 °F, so the water is cool.

Things I Learned this Week that made me Feel-Good

Did you happen to see the Sturgeon Supermoon this week? Wasn’t it spectacular? Here’s some moon trivia for you. We plant and plan under new moons and harvest and learn new things under full moons.

I discovered a new FREE website that converts text or photos into digital art. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have seen them. I’m quite pleased with what I created – a definite feel-good moment. What do you think? Here’s the link to the website if you want to create some art: https://nightcafe.studio/

Where You’ll Find Me

This weekend, I’m attending the Orangeville Summer Arts Festival. This event runs from August 10 to the 14th. I will be there on Sunday, August 14th, from 3:30 p.m until 7:00 p.m. The event is being held at the Mount Alverno Luxury Resort,  20706 Heart Lake Road, Caledon, Ontario, L7K 2A2.  Drop by and tell me your feel-good news!

I’m getting closer to publishing Love’s Farewell. If I’m lucky, I may have two new releases ready for September. I’ll touch wood for this goal to come true. I can’t cross my fingers for everything!

Have a wonderful weekend. If you plan on attending the Orangeville Summer Arts Festival, have fun and drop by my booth on Sunday.

Happy reading,
