We’re getting close. I can feel it. Adventure is waiting for us. That is to say, as soon as everyone has their vaccinations. And, as soon as the medical experts can say that the coast is clear as long as we wear our masks and don’t do anything silly, we can begin a new adventure.
What is an Adventure?
Adventure is defined as an unusual, possibly hazardous experience or activity. For example, in Forever Love, Davina looks out of her airplane window and sees all of the planes on the tarmac. She wonders about the adventures the passengers are on. Unknown to Davina, she is about to embark on an adventure that will change her life, and yes, it has its hazards. She finds herself on a mile-high speed date with Hollywood’s famous heartthrob, Quinn Thomas. She never imagined that her flight to Los Angeles would be this exciting. Quinn keeps Davina busy during the entire flight so that she doesn’t have the time to dig into her bag of junk food that is a must-have for travelling. My Adventures
My adventures involve travelling. I must admit that I daydream about places I’ve yet to see. When I do get the chance to travel, I imagine what I will see once I arrive. Most of the time I travel with my hubby, and sometimes friends https://deboraharmstrong.ca/2011/03/24/what-youre-going-on-holiday-with-friends-are-you-crazy/. It’s always an adventure whether I’m with my hubby or my friends. We have lost luggage, missed flights, got robbed, and taken ill. However, our great experiences were in seeing new places, meeting fascinating people, and learning about the places we visited. During the last year, we’ve received brochures from our favourite cruise line offering deals for next year. We read through it, marking the pages of possible adventures. However, as with most adventures, travelling is on hold. By the way, one of the perks of travelling is that it gives me material for my books.
