Spring Planting Time
Spring is here, which means one thing here on the farm – spring planting, which makes us all feel good. The soil is ready, the weather is perfect, and the machinery is serviced and ready to go! First to plant are soybeans and then corn. The grandkids are excited. Now they can have rides in the tractor with Daddy or Poppa and supervise. Gigi is already talking about riding in the combine – she has a couple of months before wheat harvest.
Brampton Craft and Vendor Show
My other feel-good feeling is that I’ll be attending the Brampton Fair’s Spring Craft and Vendor Show n Saturday, May 14th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. It’s been two years since I’ve been to an in-person event where I can promote my books. Sunday Plans
I’m hoping that I’ll have the energy to work in my gardens on Sunday. I’m eager to see colourful flowers surrounding my house. Brilliant reds and yellows are my go-to colours.
