I’ve got my author feel-good feeling again. When I write, sometimes, the words don’t come as quickly as I expect, or reviews aren’t popping up on my Amazon page to let me know readers like my books. However, this week has been a significant boost to my author ego. Here’s what’s happened:
- Amazon promoted my book without my knowledge, sending out book recommendations via email.
- Love’s Challenges received a 4-star review (although not the reader’s series’ favourite).
- Sideroads of Caledon wrote an article about me in its quarterly magazine. check out page 63
It is an incredible feeling to have my work validated; to have someone say to me that they are reading one of my books and love the story. Wow. I know that not everyone will fall in love with my characters and their story. We all have different tastes in books. I encourage readers to email me or leave comments on my social media posts. Let me know what you’re thinking.
This weekend, I plan on working on giving Bates lots of attention while I wait for feedback on my short story Love’s Farewell.
