Fairy tale endings, are they for real? Do people find their soulmates and live happily ever after, or have a short and sweet happy for now ending? If fairy tale endings exist, what does happily ever after mean? I’m sure that we all have different answers for what happily ever after means, especially when we consider where we are in our life.
The Stages of Happily Ever After
Love, desire, and adventure may be the answer for the young at heart. Children, job security, and a loving relationship may apply to older couples. And for the seasoned lovers who’ve spent most of their lives as a couple, financial security, grandchildren, and travelling may be their happily ever after.
Living My Happily Ever After
I believe in happily ever after endings. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t write romance. And, as far as my happily ever after ending goes, I’m still living mine with my hubby. He’s an awesome hubby, one that has stood by me in sickness and in health. Every morning he asks about my head; I suffer from chronic migraines. He’s my biggest fan and doesn’t mind when I retreat to my office to work on my writing. He watches movies and shows that he knows I don’t want to watch and saves the good ones for our together time. Hubby is my travel buddy, and once we feel safe to travel, we’ll be travelling the world again. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy our happily ever after with our children and grandchildren, binge watch tv, and dream about the time when we can go on more adventures.
Jack Thomas, a Fairy Tale Hero
Jack Thomas, the hero of Love’s Challenges, is a firm believer in fairy tales and happily ever after endings. Introduced to the magic of his mother’s stories told by his father, Jack knows his lady love is waiting for him. However, when he finds her, Jack is challenged to win her trust and her love. https://deboraharmstrong.ca/books-1/
I’ll keep you updated on the release date for Love’s Challenges. It’s in the hands of my editor at the moment. In the meantime, I’ll be spending time with Bates, book two in the Game Changer series.
