How was Your November? Mine was Awesome!

Deborah's Diary

I don’t usually get excited about months of the year, but I have to admit that November was an awesome year for me. Some say bad things may come in threes, but I believe great things also come in threes. Believe it or not, the awesomeness is not all about my books.

Welcoming a Grandchild

My son and his wife had their third child in November. They kept the sex of this little one a secret, so when we heard we had a second granddaughter, we were thrilled and over the moon. Yes, grandparents can be over the moon. When we heard the child’s name, well, be still my heart is all that I can say.

Finishing NaNoWriMo

I’m a winner! That’s what writers can call themselves if we write a minimum of 50,000 words during November. My goal this year was to gut Family Pictures and start fresh with new writing and character development. The result is Love’s Challenges. This book is the end of the Davina and Quinn series, although I plan to write short stories about the various characters. I can’t let them go. Love’s Challenges is now with my editor. I am hopeful for a late December or early January release.

Readers’ Support

My Amazon numbers for downloads and sales were awesome! The best I’ve had for ebooks. I’m used to making my sales in person when attending various vendor events. Since 2020, in-person sales have been non-existent. I am thankful to everyone who has read my books and has become followers on social media, and readers of my newsletter and blog. Your support inspires me to get cracking on releasing the next book in the Game Changer series. https://www.amazon.com/~/e/B008WNVMXQ
