Bookmarks. They have become my new obsession. Bookmarks are used to mark a page in a book. They can be a digital bookmark as found on Kindle and Kobo devices, and they can be the physical kind made of paper, or any material that comes to mind that can easily mark a page. As a reader, I like to read a book from cover to cover, making the need for a bookmark unnecessary. However, as an author, I find myself to be busier than I’d like, giving me less time to read. I need to use a bookmark or two depending on how many books I am reading at one time. Now I find myself making and pinning them, obsessing over them. At least they don’t take up much space.
